From the moment we arrived, Daisy, the heart and soul of this place and the rest of the staff welcomed us with a warmth that went far beyond hospitality. Their care and attention to detail made us feel not just accommodated, but genuinely looked after. At times, we’d find ourselves chatting with the other family members and staff, sharing stories, or picking fresh fruit right from the trees in the garden. Each of us had our own cabin, and they were just what we needed spacious , comfortable, and open to the lush surroundings. The sounds of the ocean and the songs of the birds drifted in naturally. We especially loved reading in the hammocks just outside the cabins on the balconies, swaying gently in the afternoon breeze. The location is also perfect, just a stone’s throw from the beach, and close enough to town that we could walk in for lunch or dinner, but far enough that it still felt like a world of its own. Like being in a town away from the town. Our stay at Cabañas Iracas del Mar was more than just a holiday it felt like a journey into the heart of Nuquí’s natural beauty and the deep, quiet generosity of its people. If you’re looking for a place that offers both solitude and connection, peaceful rest and enriching excursions, this is a destination that truly has it all.

Popochos Beach Eco Lodge ofrece alojamiento con jardín y wifi gratis, y está en Nuquí. Algunos alojamientos incluyen un balcón con vistas al mar, cocina totalmente equipada y baño privado con ducha. Todo, ha sido el lugar mas "ecolodge" en el que hemos estado en Colombia

El Retoño del Negro Gozón tiene vistas al jardín y se encuentra en Nuquí. Cuenta con restaurante, cocina compartida, bar, jardín y terraza. Utterly utterly basic. Barefoot luxury without the luxury. The wooden planks which make the walls of the huts have spaces between them for ventilation. Nothing in the room except a bed (and mosquito net), a shelf and a table. Hammocks on the verandah and the sea is right there - wonderful. You get there by small boat (with outboard motor) from Nuqui - the tourist jetty is a short walk from the airport and the people where you pay your airport tax made sure we were passed into the care of someone who saw us onto the right boat. It took 50 minutes. Wear shorts - there is no jetty and you disembark by stepping off into the water. The kitchen/dining area has a low concrete wall around it and a tin roof. The food is simple but we thought it was delicious (lots of fish - ceviche, stew and grilled). The staff are lovely - friendly and helpful, and take care to speak simple Spanish to help us understand. We enjoyed whale watching from a small boat. All very simple and undeveloped. A perfect place for blissful downtime and going to sleep to the sound of the waves. Utterly utterly wonderful!

Hotel Bahía Aguacate dispone de jardín, zona de playa privada, terraza y restaurante en Capurganá. The breakfast was varied and very tasty. The food overall was delicious—every dish exceeded our expectations. Maya and Andrés were incredibly kind and helpful; they assisted us every step of the way. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is fantastic—warm and welcoming. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

TORTUGA BAY Eco Hotel está en El Valle, a 2,2 km de Playa El Almejal, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, zona de playa privada y terraza. Ofrece restaurante y bar. Las comidas tienen todo el sabor representativo del lugar, la ubicación del hotel está en una parte de lugar donde hay acceso a vista de tortugas y otros destinos que otros hoteles no lo tienen.

Mi Cabaña El Maderal está en Capurganá y tiene jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. El alojamiento se encuentra a 5 min a pie de Playa de Capurganá. The people are so friendly, the breakfast was awesome every day :)

Refugio Mr Jerry Eco House se encuentra frente a la playa, en Bahía Solano, y cuenta con terraza y wifi gratis. El hostal o pensión dispone de habitaciones familiares. The place is absolutely wonderful. An isolated paradise with few tourists and wonderful nature around. The place is well kept and clean. The mood is nice, staff is friendly, and the food is very good! The tours to see the whales, playa de los deseos and the jungle at night were very good!

Kamaleb Farallones Hotel, que tiene bar, se encuentra en Quibdó. Este alojamiento, que cuenta con servicio de habitaciones, también cuenta con restaurante y terraza. Todo. Tiene una terraza muy linda, con vista al río Atrato. La gente que trabaja en el hotel muy amable y atenta. Gran atención. Queda muy cerca al Malecón.

Posada Los Palitos está en Bahía Solano, a 14 min a pie de Playa de El Almejal, y tiene terraza, habitaciones libres de humo y wifi gratis. Good location in town and having the room cleaned daily was great in the hot weather!

El Fin del estres Sapzurro está en Sapzurro y cuenta con vistas al mar, jardín, zona de playa privada, restaurante, bar y zona de barbacoa. Se ofrece wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. La increíble vista al inmenso mar caribe 😍
