We did a stopover from pacific side to Caribbean. One night was not enough:). The staff is super friendly, they showed animals to us (there is a big family of monkeys living literally next and above you), in the evening they catched fish for kids to show. Thousands of birds! We had a very nice dinner prepared for us also. Very recommended!

In the afternoon you can walk to the river and have a swim or dip in to it to cool off. I booked a private room with private bathroom and the rooms are very big, so you can stay with 4 persons. The hostel has a lovely view, expect Ara's and many multicolored birds in the backyard snacking from the banana's. The owner Maria is so warm and friendly, and there are 2 lovely dogs who want to be friends with you as soon as you arrive. The facilities in the kitchen are very good. Everything is super clean and tidy, value for money is superb!
