Everything about Hotel Indalo is great! Perfect location, right in town but far enough to no hear the main street. The Gardens are beautiful and well kept, perfect for those that want to connect with nature during their stay. The rooms are lovely, clean, and I really enjoyed not having a TV. But if you need/want a TV moment the wi-fi works great. The pool is a perfect size and great for when you want a little down time. Lastly, the staff is really sweet, helpful, and calm.

Everything! Beautifully designed, new bungalows in the middle of a tranquil oasis of a garden with delightful pool. Also with private outdoor shower! The staff was super friendly and helpful. Some other travellers mentioned it was far from the center but it wasn’t an issue for me, I walked every day and it was about 35 minutes along the beach. Would highly recommend if you want to stay in a beautiful hotel in the middle of nature and have a great night’s sleep while being close to Puerto Viejo.

I had a lovely stay here (stayed about 2 weeks) and will keep good memories from it :) If you want a getaway from the party hostel and a chill vibe this is the place to be. Gonzalo and his mom made everything perfect and always had a friendly smile. You can have an amazing breakfast, movie nights, and good talks. You can spot some animals around, kitchen is well set up, everything is always clean, beds confortable with curtains in the dorms for privacy. Definitely recommend. Gonzalo will make everything to make you happy and give you good recommendations (he also does good pesto pizza and jamaica flower drink ✨️🙏). Thanks a lot ☀️☺️

Excellent breakfast, fantastic location. You are a just 5 minutes away from a very quiet and secluded beach, it felt like we had a private beach to ourselves. The rooms were very tasteful and great attention to detail. Would stay again.

This place is amazing! The location in the mountains, their own (fruit) trees on the land, the modern and very private bungalows, the pool with natural water, the fresh breakfast and the incredible host! We really loved it here! I also did a horseback ride to the lake with them and the landscapes are unbelievable, I would definitely recommend this place

Kim is an amazing host! The room is comfortable and the pool really nice, everything is working perfectly fine. The whole place is made with lots of care. She cooked an amazing different breakfast every morning and we had some nice conversations. Thank you! I definitively recommend!
