"As Good as it gets". I had an absolutely brilliant vacation in this apartment and on the island of Maio. Originally booked for two nights, I stayed a full week and did not stay any longer because my schedule wouldn't permit it. The apartment itself, while not luxurious, has absolutely everything one needs for a great Beach vacation. It is large, full of light, spotlessly clean and fully equipped with absolutely everything one needs for everyday living. The location cannot be any better, being a 10 minute walk to the nicest wild beach of the island, and 10 minutes in the other direction to the town's center. The large roof allows for unobstructed views of the sea, and I found myself having all my breakfasts and lunches on the roof in front of the ocean. Without any doubt, the highlight of my visit were the hosts, Alessandra and Ilário, who took hospitality to an unprecedented high standard. They are immersed in the local community and go out of their way to introduce their guests to the island and its communities. My visit to the island would have been way less engaging and interesting without their hospitality. Solid 10, and highly recommended.

Casa Djarmai Boutique Apartments bevindt zich in Vila do Maio, op 5 minuten lopen van Praia de Biche Rocha en 2,3 km van Praia de Ponta Preta. Strong wifi (my husband used whatsapp calls for work everyday during our 1 week stay without any problem!), excellent air condition, coffee maker, hot water, really clean and beautifully decorated rooms and a blooming garden. All these things in Africa, just wow! 👍 Not to mention free upgrade to 2 bedroom apartment, free transport from the pier and to the airport and a late check-out... We are traveling 2-3 months a year with a child (3 years old right now) and my husband needs to work a couple of hours every day while on the road. This place met all our specific needs, thank you Nanda and Pompeo!

We had an incredible one-week stay. The property is located in the "Stella Maris" condominium, which from my experience having visited Maio multiple times is probably the best of its kind on the island. The apartment was well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and all the essentials. The condo itself features a fantastic pool with stunning ocean views, which was the highlight for us. The price was fair, and the host Odair was communicative, quickly addressing any minor issues that arose.

The view from the Villa is breathtaking, the location was great! they have an infinity pool in the condominium, which was amazing! The Patio of the Villa is really nice, and the living room comfortable.. plus the host Luis was reachable all the time and helped us out with a lot of things!

Cosy & Relax Yellow House 5mn walk from the beach! bevindt zich in Calheta Do Maio, op minder dan 1 km van Praia de Ponta Preta, en heeft een terras, tuin, en gratis WiFi. The cottage is very nicely decorated; you immediately feel at home. It was very clean, both inside and outside on the terrace. Even without air conditioning it was pleasant inside. Thanks to the excellent, powerful shower, you can easily get rid of all the sand. The location is excellent; you are 5 minutes' walk from the beach. The hostess was extremely pleasant.
