The property is freshly renovated and very charming, in a 19th century house with high ceilings and a wonderful view of the city hall tower. It was actually much bigger than I expected. I liked especially the mattresses and the beds in general, they were very comfortable. There is a small kitchen with all necessary items and a bathroom with a little room next to it that serves as a walk-in wardrobe. There is a flower garden in the backyard where it is possible to sit in summer. The hosts supplied even beer and mineral water, very thoughtful! Zittau has lots of historical sites and parks and offers many possibilities to relax in the surrounding countryside (Görlitz, Berzdorfer See, the rock formations in Oybin etc.). I will definitely recommend this property to others.

We got a nice welcome and found everything we wanted here. It's a nice quiet spot in an old rustic building that also houses a popular restaurant with decent craft beer from a local brewery. We had a lovely upstairs room with a spacious toilet/shower. Security is probably not an issue here, but never the less we were granted permission to park our motorcycles safely in the beer garden behind the house. Nothing is too much trouble here, we'd love to return.
