We had the great pleasure of spending a few days at this hotel. From the very first moment, the staff was incredibly kind and professional – they explained everything thoroughly and made us feel truly welcome. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and comfortable. A cozy bed, and a breathtaking mountain view made my stay an absolute delight. The entire atmosphere of the hotel, the excellent service, and the stunning surroundings make this a place I will definitely want to return to. I highly recommend it!

Located on top of a hill it has great views of the city below. Lovely public rooms and a beautiful breakfast room, eating either inside or on the terrace. It also has a restaurant on site. Our room was a suite and it was spacious, bright and clean. Huge bathroom, double sinks, separate WC with bidet, walk in shower, and a bathtub with shower. The suite was big enough for a king bed and living room furniture. It also featured a large wraparound terrace with furniture. Breakfast was wonderful. All staff were friendly and helpful. They had a large room within the hotel to securely park our bicycles. This was a great stay.

The property is around 32 km from Ribera Salada Golf Course, 42 km from Igualada Muleteer's Museum and 42 km from Igualada Leather Museum. The hotel features a sauna and room service. This fascinating property had been lovingly restored and modernised by the most delightful couple. Lots of old stone, artefacts from the grounds had been thoughtfully refashioned, all alongside modern furnishings. It felt quite a privilege to be enjoying this Old building which had had new life breathed into it. We had a very tasty 3 course dinner and breakfast was truly excellent. I could not recommend this delightful property more highly. Just sad that we will probably never travel this road again. The owners spent time chatting to us telling us about the renovation journey and we left feeling as though we were old friends.

We needed a restful break and we certainly had one at Cal Cucu. Some thanks too to Isabel's husband Mariam for helping us when the car broke down.
