Located 200 metres from the Belfry in the town of Bergues, Bienvenue Chez Nous is also only 3 km from Dunkirk Golf Club and 20 km from Cassel. A buffet breakfast with fresh pastries and fruit juices is served every morning. Our stay at Bienvenue Chez Nous was truly memorable. Valerie was a warm and welcoming host, and her husband—also the chef—served an outstanding three-course dinner for just €30. Each course was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, making it one of the best meals of our trip. The guest room was cosy and comfortable, and we especially appreciated the upstairs lounge area available for guests—a lovely spot to relax. Secure bicycle storage in the rear garden was a big plus for us as cyclists. The property is full of charm and perfectly located for exploring Bergues and the surrounding region. 10/10 – Warm hospitality, excellent food, and thoughtful amenities made this a standout stay.

Marco made us feel right at home and our dog absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED playing with his dog Anna! It was a great location for us to catch Le Shuttle to England the following morning, after a wonderful nights sleep and a great breakfast. No problems with parking, which was an added bonus. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to England from France.

After months of travel we needed a nice place to stay for a while to recoup and have a break from hotels full of excited children and equally excited yapping dogs. La Capeline fulfilled this requirement and more. Everyone here from personnel to residents are welcoming and friendly despite our extremely limited French language skills. Lovely amenities and a dream to be able to swim in a super clean, quiet, swimming pool. If you're looking for a good base to explore Dunkirk away from the busy centre La Capeline is perfect. Secure designated parking and Lidl store opposite to make life even easier. Would recommend Domitys to anyone looking for self contained accommodation in a nice safe, quiet environment.
