The Resident Edinburgh está muy bien situado en el barrio de Edinburgh City Centre, Edimburgo, a 12 min a pie de Centro Internacional de Conferencias de Edimburgo, a 1,6 km de Royal Mile y a 17 min a... Absolute stunning experience! Maybe it is because the hotel is fairly new, but the staff were amazing and very nice! The hotel is modern/fancy, has everything needed (except perhaps 1 thing: I was missing power outlets in the bathroom). Tea and coffee are good quality, as well as the equipment (hair dryer, ironing board, etc). Rooms are cozy, beds are comfy and really clean. (There is a common bedbug issue in the UK, but definitely not in this hotel!) There is a nice bar downstairs that offers welcome drinks at 5 pm. I think there is no breakfast option but there is a kitchenette in the room so you can prep your breakfast and store food in the small fridge.

The rooms are fantastic—spacious, well-designed, and the addition of a small kitchen with a full-size fridge is a great bonus, especially in the city centre. Everything was spotless, and the A/C kept the air fresh and comfortable throughout our stay. The location is, of course, unbeatable, sitting on the top floor of St James Quarter. Parking was an absolute breeze—you simply park in the main shopping mall’s underground garage, where there are plenty of spaces. It cost only £26 for two nights after getting the ticket validated at reception. If I’m not mistaken, £26 is the maximum charge, meaning even for a week-long stay, you’d only pay that amount as long as you don’t take the car out.
