With a garden, the 5-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The hotel features an indoor pool, spa centre and a 24-hour front desk. I loved everything about this hotel. At first sight - we just thought that everything was beautiful and clean. But then we realized that this hotel really cares about their guests and the service is really out of this world. Chris, that was in the reception majority of the time that we stayed there, always aimed for us to have the best time even though it rained while we stayed in the hotel for a majority of our visit. She and her colleagues always greeted us with smiles, giving us tips about where to go and how to get to those places. I know that it doesn’t sound like it’s anything more than ”regular” service, but when you meet people that treat you so good as they treated us in a 5-star hotel (and mind you - that doesn’t happen often since we mainly stay at 5-star hotels) then you appreciate the whole trip in a complete other way. Also, me and my boyfriend have worked within hospitality and service during the majority of our careers and we know that good service takes energy and commitment. If the manager of this hotel sees this review - please tell everybody on your team how great they are! Because we will be back in the fall again (booked another visit day 2 of our stay). And (!) not to forget to mention the spa. I got a treatment from Maria Hanaroli down at the spa and it was amazing! If you stay at the hotel make sure to get a treatment with her to make your trip even more luxurious.

Each room at this guest house is air conditioned and comes with a flat-screen TV. You will find a kettle in the room. Every room is fitted with a private bathroom equipped with a shower. For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hairdryer. Truly a gem of a boutique hotel. Our room was beautifully decorated, roomy and very, very comfortable. Marble bathroom had a nice big shower. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And the location was a very short walk to Old Town of Chania. I highly recommend!

The accommodation features a shuttle service, while a bicycle rental service is also available. This hostel exceeded every expectation I had and completely changed my perspective on hostels. The facilities are new, clean, and in excellent condition. The staff is friendly and always ready to help, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. There’s a lovely courtyard with a pool, a dedicated study room, a well-equipped kitchen, and spacious common areas for cooking and relaxing. The bathrooms are spotless, as they are cleaned multiple times throughout the day, and I never experienced any crowding or waiting. It’s by far the best value for money you can find — without sacrificing comfort in any way. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!

Featuring an a la carte restaurant, Elafonisi Resort by Kalomirakis Family is set amidst a garden with olive trees. It offers air-conditioned accommodation, some self-catering, and free Wi-Fi in public areas. The popular Elafonisi Beach is 650 metres away. I enjoyed the food at the location. It was beyond our expectations. Also, the beach is very close, 5 minutes walking. The apartment rooms are located in a beautiful olive tree garden. They all have a balcony, AC and bathroom.

Featuring a restaurant and a pool with sun terrace amidst its palm-tree garden, Royal Sun lies within 3 km from the centre of Chania Town. It offers air-conditioned accommodation with free Wi-Fi and a private balcony overlooking the Cretan Sea and the town. Great location, breathtaking view, nice staff. Highly recomended for everything.

Aphrodite Beach Hotel is located on the sandy beach of Mavros Molos in Kissamos. It features a swimming pool, umbrellas and sunbeds on the beach and offers free WiFi throughout.

Each with a furnished balcony with sea, garden or mountain views, the spacious units at Aphrodite Beach include air conditioning, a satellite TV, hairdryer, toiletries and safe. A wonderful hotel! Although Google Maps showed it as a two-star hotel, it definitely deserves at least four. The apartments are newly furnished with a beautiful design. Breakfast could perhaps have a bit more variety, but everything was tasty. The beach is excellent, with comfortable sunbeds, and the bar is open from early morning until late at night — something the neighboring hotel didn’t have. This central Chania hotel is just 200 metres from the Old Town walls and the Venetian harbour. It offers Cretan hospitality, modern furniture and facilities, air-conditioned and soundproof rooms and a limited capacity underground parking. The hotel was fully refurbished in 2021. We were a group of 20 people and they served both breakfast and dinner and the food was excellent. The rooms were nice, comfortable and the staff was very, very nice. Also the location is very good because you just cross the street and you are in the city old town. I recommend the hotel and I will come back with next group for sure.

Located in the centre of Chania, Kydon Hotel is opposite of the main market hall and just a few minutes' walk from the Old Town and the Venetian Harbour. Meeting facilities and free WiFi Fiber in all areas are provided. The hotel location is in the centre of the old town where one can walk and see everything. The facilities in the room and the hotel are excellent. The staff is extremely polite, helpful and the service is excellent. I would give it a rating of five stars.

El Greco Hotel is located in the Old Town of Chania, right next to the Venetian harbor and only 500m from the beach of Nea Chora.

Location, accommodation, breakfast, facilities and staff. El Greco was also so accommodating when we missed our ferry to Santorini that they happily extended our stay for a few more nights taking extra care of us for the additional days. It is located at the heart of Old Town in Chania, a 2min walk from the parking lot / taxi meeting point, 20min from the city's central bus station, 10min walk from the shopping center and just a 10min walk from Nea Chora Beach (the best part). Next door is an incredibly good restaurant called Kalderimi which is a must-try when in Chania too! Thanks to El Greco for making our stay so wonderfully memorable!
