Great rooms, excellent views and an extremely hospitable host sums up our stay here. The hotel itself is at a height with views of the Prespa lake and the village from the very large balcony adjoining the room. The room itself is very large with a large bathroom with high quality amenities. There is a provision for tea and coffee in the room with a small restaurant for breakfast and coffee above a flight of stairs. We arrived to a warm welcome by the host and greeted with hot coffee. Cookies just out of the oven were served free. Breakfast was prepared by the hostess’ mom and it was very elaborate, freshly made and delicious. We were not aware of this and had requested an early breakfast at 6.30 am and felt a bit bad about waking her up so early. However she was all smiles and spoke to us about India in Greek through her interpreter (daughter). They invited our guide for breakfast though he was staying somewhere else. There is a restaurant in the village about 5-7 mins walk from the property that’s very lively and serves great food.

The breakfast has local traditional portage and pastry, very good. The location is in the middle of uphill town with many small steep cobble streets. The host was kind enough to walk to the church parking lot to get me and directed me to their place. The host and hostess are very quick in responding to phone and text message for directions. There is a private parking lot just beside the building. They have their own cafe/restaurant, and their own brand of dry red wine taste superb.

Location is so unusual and wonderful. Unbelievable mix of beautiful nature and historical monuments of the 10th century. Landscape is like from some fairytale. Lake is surrounded with water weeds and that gives it special beauty and natural charm. Hosts were very pleasant. Breakfast was very rich and absolutly delicious. Room was clean and cosy enough - anyway one doesn'go there to be in the room, but outdoors. In the local restaurant, we ate the tasties trout - grilled and dipped in some exquisite gravy. All other local inhabitans were very pleasant and friendly.
