Fantastic villa, only 4 villas very spacious clean and Private, the staff are amazing and really take an interest in looking after you. Food was very good with good variety. We will be back with a few more friends and family. Someone commented about the road in, and how bad it was, it’s actually not to bad as far as Sumba goes, we hired a scooter from the Villas and really explored the area. We would have stayed loner but unfortunately they were booked out. 5 nights was not long enough.

Stéphane took us for a dawn patrol surf sessions with the quads, and spent a lot of time with us on the evening ☺️. We will definitely come back!

Nice simple traditional home located close to everything you need. Eddie has been super helpful, helping us find our way and giving useful recommandations for our roadtrip. Thank you Eddie!

The room was new, spacious, and very clean. The owners are incredibly kind and love their dogs (and puppies!) - dog lovers will feel right at home here. There’s no AC, but the cool nights made it perfectly comfortable. The Wi-Fi runs on Starlink, so the connection was strong. And the food… absolutely amazing - probably the best we had in all of Sumba! Don’t miss their famous lobster soup!

This place on Sumba is truly unlike anywhere else I have ever been. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat on a remote island with incredibly kind locals, this is the perfect spot. Secluded does not mean lacking in service—the host made sure everything was well provided. Delicious breakfasts are served by the friendly staff, and you can also order lunches and dinners to your villa, all of which are of excellent quality. The island itself has surprisingly good roads, so you can rent a practically new scooter on-site and enjoy exploring the entire island while taking in stunning views. The host is exceptionally warm and makes you feel at home from the very first moment. And if you still need to work while away, each villa is equipped with reliable Wi-Fi. A hidden gem on a hidden island—I can’t recommend it enough.

Hars Garden Sumba está en Waingapu y ofrece jardín. Hay parking privado gratis y el alojamiento dispone de servicio de traslado de pago para ir o volver del aeropuerto. Everything! It was clean, and the bathroom was spacious! So cool how Hars is building everything himself on his property. The view of the mountains is just… wow! I stayed for two nights, but I easily could’ve stayed longer. Breakfast was also delicious, with fresh fruit from the garden! The fact that there’s no air conditioning might take some getting used to, but I slept really well — the breeze flows nicely through the room thanks to the way it’s built. I’m very curious to see how things will look in a few years with all the plans Hars still has. It’s hard to imagine this place becoming anything but a hidden gem!

Maringi Sumba by the Sumba Hospitality Foundation dispone de bicicletas gratis, piscina al aire libre, jardín y terraza en Waikelo. Hay un restaurante de cocina indonesia y parking privado gratis. The staff here is beyond delightful, they made the stay! Helpful, friendly. The aromatherapy massage was excellent as well!

Sumba Beach House se encuentra en Waikabubak, a 11 min a pie de Playa Watu Bella, y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y salón de uso común. La playa en la que se encontraba el alojamiento era muy bonito y muy larga (vimos un atardecer increíble), la habitación al estilo tradicional era amplia, tenía tanto aire acondicionado como ventilador, y el baño rústico era precioso. La zona común era muy acogedora, tanto los cócteles como la cena estaban muy buenos
