My stay at Sheraton was amazing. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the train station, which is a great catch. After booking, the hotel reservation team sent me a link to its website, which has fabulous ideas of activities you can explore while in Athlone. There was constant communication from the team ahead of my arrival. It was my birthday and they made it so special, the personnel at the reception wished me a Happy Birthday as I walked in, and on walking to into my room I was welcomed with a plate of cake, chocolate and a birthday card from the hotel management. Everything about my stay was perfect. The pool, spa, breakfast, and dinner were indeed amazing. The staff are so courteous, they were always ready to help and were beaming with smiles always. I highly recommend and would definitely return when next I visit Athlone. The oldest pub in Ireland, "Sean's bar," is a 10 mins walk away, too 😊

Karl's welcome was pleasant, warm and very accommodating. The setting is simply superb, clean, and well-maintained. The room met our expectations, the bed very comfortable. We really appreciated it.

Horseleap BNB está en Moate, a 17 km de Centro patrimonial de Tullamore DEW, a 24 km de Mullingar Greyhound Stadium y a 25 km de Athlone Institute of Technology. We had a fantastic stay in a spotless, nice and comfy BnB on our way to Clonmacnoise. Darlene, our host was very kind and helpful. We had a very nice continental breakfast with great coffee to kick off a perfect day.

Lir Lodge está en Castlepollard, a 18 km de Mullingar Arts Centre, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y salón de uso común. The setting was very nice, with close to all the attractions of the Mullingar area but in the countryside. The host's husband, who was filling in while she attended to family matters, was very friendly and even gave us a tour of his hurling stick manufacturing and shop. It's a gated yard, so it felt very secure, and the breakfast area had everything you needed for a little snack or a good start to the day!

Glasson Glamping Farm está en Athlone y dispone de vistas al río, jardín, salón de uso común y terraza. This is a campsite, so I'm giving my review by comparing it to other similar places. It would be unfair to compare a farm to a hotel. That said, my stay was great! The house was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The toilet is outside the building, but it's private because it belongs to that unit only. The showers are shared, which wasn't a problem at all — the bathroom is spacious and very comfortable. It's excellent for kids — my son was delighted!
