Radisson RED Galway ligt in Galway, op 18 minuten lopen van Galway Greyhound Stadium, en biedt accommodatie met een terras, gratis privéparkeren, een restaurant en een bar. Brand new hotel, with excellent breakfast and convenient parking garage. Location is in the middle of an industrial area, outside the touristic Galway, which is a 10 minute drive. Not a problem for those driving.

Shoreline Apartments ligt in Galway, dicht bij Grattan Beach. De accommodatie biedt gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. The apartment was spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable, well appointed and modern. Everything you need was available, washing machine, dishwasher, hair dryer, fridge, iron etc etc . The location was good for us - we were a family of 5 adults and we liked the walk along side the coastline and past the golf club on Salthill Promenade . We also walked to the city which was an approx 35 minute walk but we like to walk so it suited us but the walk to the city may be too much for a family with young children so a car would be useful. There are also taxi’s/ubers available which we used one time as we were going out to dinner. Uber was quick and easy. If you don’t want to go into the city - which would be a shame if you didn’t - there are lots of bars, pubs, shops, cafes and restaurants on the street behind the apartment and 5 mins walk away. But I would recommend a visit to the city as we visited the cathedral which was beautiful and the Spanish arch. We also did a tour of some of the well known pubs such as Garavans which was recommended to us. And some of our party took a dip in the sea off the platform on Salthill Promnede! We loved Galway and would definitely go back.
