The property was so nice. A great location! I wish we could’ve stayed 2 days there. I think there are lots of interesting hikes thru forests. We only had time to see a nearby waterfall. We saw northern light from the outdoor hot tubs.

This hostel is located on Berunes farm by the Ring Road and is 45 km from the village of Djúpivogur. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and lounges. Free WiFi is available. The property was absolutely stunning, and the staff made the accommodations and restaurant feel like a homely roadside inn. The food, from the Icelandic rye bread to the entrees to the local beer and lemoncello, the best prepared dishes we had on our entire ring road trip. When we return to Iceland, Berunes will be on our itinerary.

Ormurinn Cottages ligt in Egilsstadir. In de gehele accommodatie is gratis WiFi beschikbaar. It was a very cute cabin with and amazing view at the lake.We had everything we needed for short stay,we could evening cook some dinner on the kichenette. It was also very reasonably priced compared to other cabins/apartment we stayed at on our Iceland trip

Our hosts were extremely friendly and provided us with all the information we needed to explore the area. The beds were very comfortable too, and the serenity of the location was just breathtaking.
