Cheap hotels in Gunma

Japanese buffet breakfast was great. Location was close to Belc for easy access to cheap food.

Good location. On a quiet spot at the end of the main street of the town and right at the entrance of the country park. We took about 15 minutes to walk from the train station. But the ryokan also provided pick up and drop off service. Our room was spacious, comfortable and spotless clean. Excellent indoor and open air bath with spring water from 2 famous origins. Must try them all. The staff who served us were very good and helpful. We loved its relaxation room which provided freshly boil coffee and foot hot spring bath.

Beautiful room with a gorgeous view. Dinner and breakfast were absolutely exceptional and some of my favorite meals of the trip. Location was very close to the park and an easy walk through/into town. The hotel onsen was also very nice and very clean. I would absolutely stay here again in the future!

Location. It is very close to Yubatake. The place is very clean. I like that the baths are private because I am not comfortable being naked with other ladies.

Great location, just a few minutes walk to the town center. Landlady is very friendly and live next door. The house is very Japanese style and that is what we are looking for. It has a parking but unfortunetaly we couldnot hire a car due to licence issue. Rooms are cold in winter as there are only portable heaters and need to turn off during sleep. Guess that is what we need to deal with in order to trade off for an Japanese tranditional house.

Incredible historic building that has been tastefully and newly renovated inside. Very clean, stylish and comfortable. Was literally the perfect, ideal Japan countryside experience. The staff were the best we had in all of Japan. We will stay here again and recommend to all our friends going to kusatsu.

Excellent accomodation and would highly recommend. Location is fantastic - right across from the bus terminal and in close walking distance to the yubatake. Host is lovely and gave us matcha and sweets on arrival, there is also yukata and things for going to onsen/foot bath provided. The breakfast was delicious and served inside your room. Loved the onsen on-site and it was very clean.

The staff were amazing, incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They went out of their way to provide us with options for dietary requirements despite it being an inconvenience. The location is picturesque and the property itself is stunning, the multiple baths are all amazing and must be experienced. The room was beautiful and very clean. Our stay was absolutely wonderful and definitely a highlight of our trip to Japan!
