Where to start! This was one of the best hotels we have stayed in Japan. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They helped to receive luggge and packages, and helped us send our luggages to the following hotel. The rooms were more spacious than the usual modern hotels in Japan, and decorated immaculately. The continuous flow of baked goods, drinks at the cozy lobby made me feel like having a big living room where I could spend hours to chill after a long day of walking. We also made use of their free bike rental. It is a such great concept! I also used the laundry on the ground floor. Definitely considering staying here next time I'm in Kyoto!

I've lived in Japan and traveled for a long while but this hotel was so large and comfortable, something rare with hotels in Japan. The price was perfect and had the same standards as a five star hotel.
