The bunks are double size with warm blankets. The bath downstairs is a welcome retreat after skiing if you don’t fancy the 7 min walk to the local onsen. Well worth it. Check which one with Rio. Note it shuts at 7 pm but the baths in the hotel remain open. Rio has an array of beverages in his bar and restaurants are easy. Just go nextdoor ! Thank you for your hospitality Rio. Very nice people, clean facilities, cute bar downstairs, with spacious rooms and delicious breakfast (paid). It was a very enjoyable experience. Please do mind that most activity plays at the other part of Matsushima, which is about half an hour walking.
