Kambu Mara Camp bevindt zich in Sekenani en biedt gratis WiFi, een bar en een barbecue. De camping heeft een restaurant dat Afrikaanse, Amerikaanse en lokale gerechten serveert. We liked everything. Beautiful atmosfere, we heard animals through the night, we saw giraffes in the morning. Staff is just great, so cheerfull and on your service all the time. Tent is clean, and you have everything you need in it. Dinners and breakfasts are very tasty. We also booked 12hrs safari with them, and it was great! Our guide/driver was very interesting, he told us everything about animals we saw, and we saw everything there is to see! I couldn’t recommend this place more !

Olkinyei Mara Tented Camp bevindt zich in Talek met uitzicht op de tuin en heeft een restaurant, roomservice, bar, tuin en terras. Zowel WiFi als privéparkeren is bij de lodge gratis toegankelijk. Wat een geweldige lodge! Rustige sfeer, midden in de natuur en goed onderhouden. De locatie is uitstekend, dichtbij bij de Talek gate van Masai Mara. Het personeel is erg behulpzaam en biedt goede service. Mooie tenten met lekker bed en een ruime badkamer (wij zaten in de deluxe tent). Het eten was heerlijk, met afwisseling van buffet en plate service. Je kan ontbijt en lunch meenemen op safari om in het park te blijven. We hadden een super goede gids (via accommodatie) en hebben veel leeuwen en cheetahs gezien! Een absolute aanrader!

Greenwood safari camp is gelegen in Talek met uitzicht op de tuin en heeft een restaurant, een gedeelde lounge, bar, tuin, terras en speeltuin. The owner of the camp has assembled a great team of commited people. They provided us with everything: information, transport, guide and superb food. In fact, you can have the camp arrange your game drives in the Masai Mara and your transport from and to Nairobi, all at very competetive rates. The owner, Magdy, will explain everything to you through WhatsApp. All the accomodation and facilities are safe and clean (but opt for the larger and more comfortable rooms!). I did a lot of research before my booking, and I think Greenwood (also recommended in the Lonely Planet guide book, by the way) is among the best choices, if you are on a budget. Go there!

Everything was perfect — the staff, atmosphere, food, and location. We even saw some wild animals right at our room’s doorway! Mara Hilltop heeft een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een terras en een bar in Sekenani. We had an amazing stay at Mara Hilltop – truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! The view was breathtaking, and the tent was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully set up. Special thanks to Chef Allan for the delicious meals, and to Lucia and Steve who were always so helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Our game drives were unforgettable with Ken, an excellent driver who made sure we saw the Big 5! In Nairobi, John was also a great driver who took care of us very well. One of the highlights of our trip was the nature walk with Dickson – he was such a knowledgeable and engaging guide, making it an incredible experience. A huge thank you to NJ, a very patient owner who always responded to all my queries, and to Nick, who went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort, even checking in with us on our way home. Everything was so wonderful that we ended up extending our stay. We highly recommend Mara Hilltop Camp to anyone visiting the Masai Mara – you will not be disappointed!

Super location with tents spaced out between private winding paths on a hill with a view. Dining area with fireplace and washroom. Tents with washroom also. Great dinner was an added bonus. This was super for a group of work colleagues visiting the park.
