We arrived very early in the morning (after a night journey on a sleeping bus), but we were warmly welcomed and able to leave our luggage. By around 10 a.m., our room was ready, which we appreciated greatly. We spent a couple of very peaceful days, something that is very important to us. We loved the quick responses, excellent communication, cleanliness, and attentive service from Xavier and his wife. We used their laundry service, and our clothes were returned clean within a few hours. We also rented a motorbike from them to explore some waterfalls along part of the loop, and everything worked perfectly. Lastly, we purchased tickets to Don Det through them, with pickup directly from the accommodation. Everything was punctual and convenient. The whole hotel was decorated in a very stylish manner. The shower and toilet are separated, which is very rare in this part of the world. Price/quality ratio was excellent.

Not a fancy, touristy place but very good value. I love it. Out of guesthouse only local people at Don Som island. Owners/ staff are very friendly and caring, helping with organization (which you need if you want to go to Don Det/ Don Khon but easy in the end). Good kitchen at the guesthouse.
