Hotel Heladiv ligt op een rustige locatie en wordt omgeven door weelderig groen, op 6 km van de luchthaven SLAF Anuradhapura. Er is gratis WiFi beschikbaar. Prachtige kamers, heel lief en behulpzaam personeel wat constant klaar voor je staat. Heerlijk ontbijt en makkelijk te regelen tourtjes etc! Door het medium weer niet kunnnen genieten van het zwembad maar dat zag er ook super uit! Ook is er veel rust door de ligging.

Great staff with friendly owner. Very helpful but also wanted extra business. ie tuk tuk rides. Breakfast was excellent. Modern, clean Room with great shared balcony.

This beautiful place was so peaceful, the room was the most comfortable room we stayed in sri lanka, the breakfast was delicious and the room even had a tv with Netflix and other streaming service. The place was amazing!!!!

Even before I arrived the host messaged me and helped me get the bus from Anuradhapura, then arranged a tuktuk when I missed the stop. A tasty dinner was provided even though the restaurant was closed due to Poya Day. Advice about safaris, then safari was booked at short notice. A packed breakfast was provided for the early start. I was planning on taking a train onwards to Mannar, but he called and checked and found out it was cancelled, then helped me with bus arrangements, and flagging it down. This place was a great base for Wilpattu safaris, affordable, clean, and a friendly family. And a beautiful sunset!

Wonderful stay with Gihan and Dinu! We stayed twice for a total of 7 nights. A wonderful, authentic experience in Sri Lanka. They are extremely kind and welcoming. They speak English very well, and we were able to take the time to ask questions and discuss many topics such as culture, sports, politics, food, customs, etc. This allowed us to better understand this country. They truly care about their guests, making sure we have everything we need and giving great tips for visiting the city and its surroundings. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner if needed (we recommend trying it at least once because it's delicious). We did the cooking program, which involves buying ingredients at the market and then cooking together. It was great to see all the flavors they add to the dishes we enjoyed afterwards. They know a contact for a safari in Wilpattu National Park and can help organize it. Regarding the accommodation, it's located on a very quiet alley. There's a kitchen available and a pleasant terrace overlooking the small garden. The rooms are well-equipped and pleasant. We recommend a stay here for a wonderful human experience. Kaala Kalaththewa Luxury Eco Resort ligt in Anuradhapura, op 6 km van Attikulama Tank, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een terras. It was exceptional. The staff was professional and attentive and made us feel very welcome. The whole resort was clean, spacious and beautifully designed. It's located in a small forest with butterflies, pheasants, a variety of wild birds and cute chickens. You can take a walk, play badminton, go to the nearby lake or visit the temples in anuradhapura or mihintale - it's very close. The hosts can arrange tours as well - we went to Anuradhapura with a guide and it was very fun and a fair price. Also the food: try the Sri Lankan breakfast it's delicious! We loved the tree house - it was so relaxing when it was rainy. They even offered room service. :) long story short - a must stay. Ps: please note that there is nature around. It's a tree house in a jungle-like forest. There are occasionally frogs and other visitors on your terrace. We loved it though.

Emerald Home Stay is gunstig gelegen in het centrum van Anuradhapura, en biedt een terras en uitzicht op de tuin. Mooi nieuw gebouwd hotel met goede ruime kamer. Eigenaar is zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk evenals zijn vrouw. Een familie gevoel en lekkere homemade maaltijden .

MONI FARM HOUSE WILPATTU heeft accommodatie met airconditioning in Nochchiyagama. Er is een terras en je kunt er gebruik van maken gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Prachtig huisje in het midden van de natuur. Vlakbij een meertje waar je fantastische vogels kan spotten. Ook in de tuin enkele mooie exemplaren kunnen spotten. Via de eigenaar ook een goeie gids voor het Wilpattu Nationaal Park kunnen regelen. Avondmaal en lunchpakket voor tijdens de safari waren subliem! Echt een aanrader.

Wilpattu Mookalan Resort heeft gratis fietsen, een tuin en gratis WiFi, en is gelegen in Habawewa, op 39 km van Kumbichchan Kulama Tank en 39 km van Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. Toplocatie, vlak aan de ingang van Wilpattu!! Ook is een wandeling aan het nabij gelegen meer zeker een aanrader. Dit resort wordt uitgebaat door een heel lief en vriendelijk gezin. Ze zijn héél behulpzaam en het uitgebreide avondeten is verrukkelijk!! De kamers zijn ok en je kan genieten van een warme douche. Airco werkt eveneens uitstekend. Uitgebreid vers fruitaanbod bij het ontbijt en verse boterhammen met eiersalade. Misschien een tip om wat boterhammen met boter of jam aan te bieden, voor zij die geen eiersalade eten. Alleen al voor de locatie en voor de warmte van de eigenaars is dit een aanrader!!
