I went in the off season, and I was well informed that a lot of the island will be closed due to the weather, which showed how genuine these guys were. I went nevertheless and had the best experience. The food was incredible. The hospitality was amazing. With being the only tourist on the island, I felt safe and comfortable. Thank you to Amin, Matyoe, Hakim, abe Ming and Woody for making my stay such a memorable one. I can’t wait to be back in the peak season!

We had a room on the upper floor, right next to the terrace. The view of the water and the small island opposite is heavenly. The room offers everything you need, is very clean, and the beds are comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful in every situation.

7 brand new huts, opened July / Aug 25. We were one of the first guests and everything is brand new like a show home. Not directly on a beach but only a 3 minute walk in one direction to Coral Bay (chilled beach with great sunsets) or 5 minutes the other way to Long Beach (lively beach with great sunrises). Breakfast wasn’t included in our room rate, but was excellent and great value in the owners restaurant. Staff were lovely too.

I truelly believe that you can’t find any better place to stay than at the Asma. The bed is very comfortable, you have a nice shower and a balcony. What made the experience unique for us was definitely the host. Aziz and Liya helped us for EVERYTHING. It is a true blessing to have found such exceptional host for the perhentian as you have to organize a lot of things from transfer to activities, everything was taken care by the staff. It is so resting for us as vacationers to not to worry about airport transfer etc. Above that, all the activities were so fun and exciting. We saw sharks, turtles, corals… For having stayed in many many places all around the world, it is the first time that we are so sad to leave a place… Thanks again Aziz and Liya for everything and we will sure come back

We spent only one night at this property, which turned out to be a real gem! Not only is it welcoming and beautifully designed, but it also offers a unique sense of calm and charm. We were four people and booked the suite, which includes two very spacious bedrooms, a cozy living area, and a large bathroom with two separate entrances from each room. Everything is thoughtfully arranged down to the smallest detail, and the hosts were incredibly kind and helpful with recommendations. Guests can enjoy the use of an e-bike, a refreshing dip in the pool, or a game of pool. Truly one of the best places we stayed at in Malaysia — cared for with genuine love and attention. Highly recommended, especially as a relaxing stop before or after visiting the Perhentian Islands. The nearby seafood restaurant is excellent as well! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!
