The room was equipped with exactly what was needed and more - including toiletries and coffee! The location was a stunner - it overlooks the bay where you can see flamingoes. The building is right at the foot of the road which makes it easy to find.

This was by far one of our favorite stays while traveling in Africa. The hosts communicated nicely before we arrived, sharing the location and asking us what we were interested in doing while in town. They also gave amazing recommendations for close by food and drinks. The room and outdoor space was nice and spacious, thoughtfully decorated, and felt easy to relax in. The shower was perfect after a day of activities with good pressure and heat. It was a much needed feeling of home after traveling for so long. We came as strangers and left feeling like family! Another part was their recommendation to do a tour of Sandwich Harbor with the tour guide, Gideon. Hands down an amazing experience with fresh oysters, champagne, and good eats while in the middle of the Namib desert. After we expressed a desire to sandboard, he ensured we had an amazing spot and prepared boards for multiple awesome rides. Then we enjoyed a spectacular Braai with everyone and it is something I will remember forever.

It is so beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. Swimming has an incredible mountain view. Good size of bedrooms and a very tasty breakfast.

Achab is a beautiful place with very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed every minute of our weekend! Children enjoyed the pony rides and feeding them apples. We made friends with the goats and enjoyed lovely nature walks and a braai with a view in the evening. We will be back!
