Little Sossus Campsite is highly organized and offers camp spots that are covered and proper also for a tent on a car (that was really convenient with windy weather!) and with private bathroom and "kitchen". The stay was really nice and tranquil and the landlady gave us really precious information on how to organize our visit to Sossusvlei national park! Also the little shop has a lot of nice food and drinks. I highly recommend this place!

Desert Camp in Sesriem ligt in in de Namibische woestijn en biedt een buitenzwembad en luxe accommodaties met een eigen badkamer. Het is slechts 5 km naar de Sossusvlei Lodge. After a stay in the neighbouring camp, we knew Desert Camp would be a hit. Is has beautiful cottages, with plenty of storage space behind the bed/in the bathroom. The shower is great and my kids loved the pool. But what sets apart this accommodation is the possibility to have breakfast and dinner at the Sossusvlei lodge, which is always good and definitely a highlight. The location is wonderful as well of course, you are right next to the Sossusvlei park.

Tsauchab River Camp Campsite ligt in Sesriem en biedt accommodatie met gratis privéparkeren. Bij de camping zijn er een tuin en een terras. This was the best campsite we have ever visited in our life :) The campsites are large - hectares of private land in a very peaceful and safe natural environment. The private bathroom was clean, water was hot. We could cook our meals on the open fire. At the reception we could relax, have a nice beer. The reception itself is also wonderful with a lot of artwork. It is evident from all the beautiful details that this place is a real passion and mission of the owners. The lady was very kind and provided useful information on the places to visit. They have some own hiking trails - all wonderful :) This place was such a wonderful and peaceful experience, fully recommended!

At Kronenhof Campsites heeft een restaurant en accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, een tuin en een gedeelde lounge. Duwisib Castle ligt op 22 km. In de eerste plaats is het een droomplek, midden in de natuur. Een geweldige ervaring om op een kampeerplek met private sanitaire voorzieningen te staan. Alles van een mooie kwaliteit en afsluitbaar. Je waant je in de badkamer van een hotel. Zeer vriendelijke host, die er gelukkig ook voor kon zorgen dat een lekke band werd gerepareerd door zijn mannen.

Namib Outpost heeft een restaurant en accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, een terras en een bar. Sesriem Canyon ligt op 34 km. Zowel WiFi als privéparkeren is bij de lodge gratis toegankelijk. Excellent employees, helpful, friendly and welcoming. Great location and the watering hole meant I got to see more animals than expected. Given was an exceptional guide for my tours also.

Hammerstein Lodge is gelegen in Hammerstein, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, airconditioning en toegang tot een tuin met een buitenzwembad. Mooie lodge waar wij ons snel thuis voelden. Bijzonder vriendelijk personeel met name Oliver en Ernesto. Alles is schoon en fris. Mooi restaurant met uitstekende keuken! Wij zijn met Ernesto naar Sossusvlei, Deadvlei en Sesriem Canyon geweest, dat was hartstikke mooi. De volgende dag een game drive sundowner gedaan, veel dieren gezien, ook zeer de moeite waard.
