Cheap hotels in Canterbury

We’ve stayed here before and loved the price for a private room and location! It’s a great affordable place to stay when visiting Christchurch! We had an early flight on departure day so having the car park access near by was super handy for us and cheap rates for that parking or you could park further away on the street for free. The church pub and Mexican restaurant down the street is also handy for a drink or late night eat! The shared bathrooms were always clean and showers got nice and hot!

Location was great - good alternative with all the ammenities you need for a stay in such a beautiful location. Comfy bed and good facilities. Ideal for those on a budget and needing a solid place to stay.

Location was great. Room was well sized and loved the private patio (although it rained the whole time so didn't get to use it) Staff were really nice to deal with. Bedding was very clean, as was the kitchen.

The location was pretty good ,it was very clean and warm hostel . The kitchen looked excellent very clean and well equipped, The room was clean and so affordable .Neil

We had a double bed room near the top of the building, so I can only say about that. Which was a very nice apartment, kitchen and living area all very clean and comfortable as were the beds. Nice views from a higher up room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was close enough to the centre with the shops and restaurants that it was an enjoyable walk. They offer a cheaper shuttle bus service to the airport which is helpful if travelling on a budget. But they were also able to order us a taxi. Hotel great.

Hanmer is a beautiful village. The accommodation is was so much affordable than the previous five nights at other locations, that we were concerned it would not be that good. But it was so much better! We slept fantastic. Everything is close by. Accommodation was very clean.

An extremely well equipped and very clean studio. It literally had everything we needed. Lovely to have the decking area at the front of the property, wonderful to enjoy a quiet sit or to be able to have meals. The location is perfect too, such a quiet location, making it a very restful break. Some lovely walks locally and an ideal base for exploring Mount Cook area. We would love to come back here and would definitely recommend this property to others.
