Cheap hotels in South Island

We’ve stayed here before and loved the price for a private room and location! It’s a great affordable place to stay when visiting Christchurch! We had an early flight on departure day so having the car park access near by was super handy for us and cheap rates for that parking or you could park further away on the street for free. The church pub and Mexican restaurant down the street is also handy for a drink or late night eat! The shared bathrooms were always clean and showers got nice and hot!

Especially for a solo traveller it was a fantastic stay. It was a budget option but rather than staying in a hostel dorm room I had my own space which I very much appreciated. Especially after a busy day you just want to relax on your own. Sharing the bathroom on the floor was not a big deal at all, it was clean and close. Staff were all friendly and the location was great. Only a short walk from the city but also with a car park to use - again, another massive advantage compared to a hostel.

Great location to the airport, only a 10 minute walk which is very hand for those early morning/late night flights. The pods were very clean and comfortable, and the shared bathroom was also spotless. Staff always friendly at reception too. This is my second stay here and I would stay again.

Spotlessly clean and beautiful views. We have stayed here approx 7/8 years and it never fails to recharge your batteries. Bed linen was very clean and plenty of hot water. Nicki was great to deal with too.

Very clean, great location. A good budget option with private bathroom and balcony

It has good locations, 1-2 min walk to thermal pools and shops. It is very clean, room very cosy. It has share bathroom, kitchen and dining room and everything was spotless. Definitely good for money if you on budget. I can only highly recommend.
