Manuel went out of his way to take us snorkeling and to visit the islands. We felt very well taken care of. And the experience of being in the islands on the boat was just amazing.

We met local kunas , snorkeled , swam and went to the nicest bar on one of the islands

Beautiful Island with very friendly and helpful GunaYala people! The organisation of the transport and tours (nature pool, Isla chichime & Isla hierba) was TOP !!! Highlight of the Island perro chico, was the snorkeling on the sunken boat just in front of the beach "easy also to do with kids"! The food was very delicious with a lot of different choices. In total it was a super experience to sleep on a small Island with cristal clear water!!! San Blas should be a must do if you are in Panama!

Cabañas frente al mar Isla de Guna Yala Aroma está en Niatupo y ofrece terraza y bar. El alojamiento dispone de parking privado gratis. El apartamento también cuenta con 2 baños. It really felt like I was staying on a private island and the host family was very kind. Had an amazing time camping, and the tent they set up for me was very big. All meals were included and the food options were varied.

The trip out to islands is an adventure in itself — and for $110 person round trip they arranged SUV ride from Panama City and had a guide meet us and take us in boat out to the island. Same on way back — they got us from the island right back to hotel. During your stay on island, you get a free trip to other islands (or two trips if you stay 3-4 days). Isla Diablo has a great little reef that you can snorkel around right off the beach. It was some of the best snorkeling we found in Panama and went around reef 3 or 4 times on during trip. Make sure to do this! There is also snorkeling around sunken ship on adjacent island — Isla Perrito. We are really glad we stayed on Isla Diablo since with the reef right there there was more to do without getting on boat. The accommodations and food are simple but in keeping with the island vibe. Grilled or fried chicken or fish with great coconut rice and a bit of Cole slaw for each meal. But there is no place to buy an extra snack or dish anywhere on island, so recommend you bring extra snacks or food just in case for any special dietary needs or preferences. WiFi was pretty good and a total surprise. Ask at the restaurant and they will give you password for $1/day fee. And there is place you can recharge devices. They sell beer and soda and cocktail drinks for very reasonable prices (eg $2 beer), and beyond that there is not much you can spend money on. We highly recommend!

Cabañas Narasgandup (Naranjo Chico) ofrece alojamiento en Mamartupo y cuenta con restaurante. Hay terraza en el propio alojamiento, y cerca se puede practicar pesca y snorkel. Amazing stay. The people here are so kind and friendly, welcoming and helpful. They made so much effort to ensure I was comfortable. The Accomodation is clean and as pictured with a private bathroom. Of course basic but if planning a trip to San Blas you need to manage your expectations! I booked at short notice and everything was arranged so smoothly, very easy process for transfer from Panama City. The food was delicious. Beach on the island very nice and the excursions were excellent. I highly recommend booking this place! The price includes all meals and boat from the port. Car from Panama City and taxes are extra but not expensive.
