The boat was a great experience; we had everything we needed, from snorkeling and paddle boarding to a small boat to bring my parents to the islands. Manuel knows the place very well, which delivered an even better experience to our family, with great snorkeling spots and beautiful beaches.

They took very good care of us during our two night stay. All meals were beyond amazing! We had conch curry, lobster, coconut bread, and a number of other delicious dishes that were outstanding. Sayra knows the local Guna well and took us on a tour around the island (Cambombia) to meet them. We bought molas from some of the local women. Their handicraft skills are truly impressive. San Blas is absolutely gorgeous and the water is pristine! No wind while we were there, but we had some excellent snorkeling! Sayra took us out on the dinghy to snorkel through different areas of the reef. Lots of different fish and some of the best coral we have seen. It was a very relaxing weekend, and one we will always remember. Highly recommend staying!

They’re warm, generous, and truly passionate about what they do. The food was unforgettable. Daniela made delicious meals — pasta, handmade pizza, fresh salads — and we devoured everything she made. And Paul’s pancakes? One morning, with a palm-covered island in the background and coffee in hand, we had tears of joy. It was that perfect. Paul is an incredible captain — experienced, making us feel safe every step of the way. Together with Daniela, they took us to quiet, untouched islands with no crowds, just pure natural beauty. They shared fascinating stories about the Kuna people and their way of life, which made every stop even more special. We snorkeled over vibrant coral reefs, swam with stingrays, and even learned a bit about sailing. In the evenings, we sat under a sky filled with thousands of stars. Being the only guests on board made it feel like a completely private experience. Paul and Daniela tailored the trip to us, making sure we had the best time — even when we found ourselves dancing around on the boat in pure joy. If you want to disconnect, experience nature, eat amazing food, and be guided by two genuinely amazing people, Play to Live is the perfect choice. Beautiful Island with very friendly and helpful GunaYala people! The organisation of the transport and tours (nature pool, Isla chichime & Isla hierba) was TOP !!! Highlight of the Island perro chico, was the snorkeling on the sunken boat just in front of the beach "easy also to do with kids"! The food was very delicious with a lot of different choices. In total it was a super experience to sleep on a small Island with cristal clear water!!! San Blas should be a must do if you are in Panama!

Cabaña privada en Guna Yala isla Diablo baño compartido está en Cagantupo y ofrece jardín, zona de playa privada y restaurante. Se ofrece parking privado por un suplemento. The trip out to islands is an adventure in itself — and for $110 person round trip they arranged SUV ride from Panama City and had a guide meet us and take us in boat out to the island. Same on way back — they got us from the island right back to hotel. During your stay on island, you get a free trip to other islands (or two trips if you stay 3-4 days). Isla Diablo has a great little reef that you can snorkel around right off the beach. It was some of the best snorkeling we found in Panama and went around reef 3 or 4 times on during trip. Make sure to do this! There is also snorkeling around sunken ship on adjacent island — Isla Perrito. We are really glad we stayed on Isla Diablo since with the reef right there there was more to do without getting on boat. The accommodations and food are simple but in keeping with the island vibe. Grilled or fried chicken or fish with great coconut rice and a bit of Cole slaw for each meal. But there is no place to buy an extra snack or dish anywhere on island, so recommend you bring extra snacks or food just in case for any special dietary needs or preferences. WiFi was pretty good and a total surprise. Ask at the restaurant and they will give you password for $1/day fee. And there is place you can recharge devices. They sell beer and soda and cocktail drinks for very reasonable prices (eg $2 beer), and beyond that there is not much you can spend money on. We highly recommend!

Cabañas Narasgandup (Naranjo Chico) ofrece alojamiento en Mamartupo y cuenta con restaurante. Hay terraza en el propio alojamiento, y cerca se puede practicar pesca y snorkel. Amazing stay. The people here are so kind and friendly, welcoming and helpful. They made so much effort to ensure I was comfortable. The Accomodation is clean and as pictured with a private bathroom. Of course basic but if planning a trip to San Blas you need to manage your expectations! I booked at short notice and everything was arranged so smoothly, very easy process for transfer from Panama City. The food was delicious. Beach on the island very nice and the excursions were excellent. I highly recommend booking this place! The price includes all meals and boat from the port. Car from Panama City and taxes are extra but not expensive.
