Even though there was no electricity on the island I felt very comfortable here. They had a generator and the location is very central. Special thanks to Erwen, who made my stay even more worthwhile. Out of all my 10+ years of travel experience, this is one of the TOP3 hostels I have ever stayed. I especially liked the design and comfort of the beds - they have a proper privacy curtain, a locker and a couple of shelves inside the bed capsule. The family that owns the place live in the same building, so the maintenance issues are resolved quickly. They sometimes do their own family dinners and evening events where guests are usually invited to join in. Hostel has backup generators and Starlink internet, so in the event of power outage, you still have electricity and internet.

This place is amazing!! I didn't want to leave. Host Elvira is such a wonderful person, greeted us upon arrival and was there to send us off as well. Gave us a tour of the house, welcomed us with cold coconut juice. Her home is so beautifully decorated, well curated decor items. There are only 3 rooms for rent in her house so book it when it's available. My room was very comfortable and spacious. Highlight is the outdoor shower! There is a water dispenser so just bring your water bottle. There's a French press and coffee provided as well so you can chill at the outdoor lounge. Plenty of good recommendations for meals! And the in room massage was incredible! Elvira will help arrange for anything you need. Thank you Elvira for brilliant hospitality and warmth.

The property was tucked away from the main road, so was very quiet at night! You can tell it is a new building, as the rooms are beautiful and very clean! There is a lovely communal kitchen which we used a few times, it has everything you might need. The hosts are very responsive and kind. They have a beautiful dog named Tiger who hung out with us a lot. We loved our stay here and wish we had stayed longer!

The staff are great! Very nice and helpful. The room is spotless and has hot water, great AC, it looks good and it’s spacious. The restaurant cafe is so nice and chill, prefect way to start your morning. The mango yogurt is really good!
