The planned activities from which to choose are world class – top of the list is Gorilla trekking, which was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We had the opportunity to canoe on pristine lakes, visit community groups working with artisans and really experience life in Rwanda’s northern region. The Diane Fossey Campus is literally right around the corner and well worth the visit. We were made to feel at home in this top-notch facility, with our every need catered to – massages in room, fresh local flowers from the luscious gardens, and the best turn-down service ever. But truly the Sambora family made the stay extra special for us.
