Nafi was warm and accommodating, her home and garden are gorgeous and peaceful, and the room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The location was easy to find and Nafi even found and greeted us on our walk to make sure we didn't get lost, and it is only a few minutes to walk to any part of the island. The home is right on the water and is surrounded by her incredible garden, and her family is friendly and excellent hosts. I wish I could have stayed longer!

We were fortunate enough to also be part of International Women's Day, so the gallery was filled with art created by African women, and there was actually an event to meet and speak to the artists. There was also a concert on the rooftop restaurant/bar (the food is creative and tasty!), which was super cool. The location is great, you can catch a taxi to any part of the city easily. There's a little supermarket in front for water, snacks, etc. Our tastefully-decorated room was quiet despite the craziness of Dakar, the bed was comfortable, and it was very clean. The breakfast was also very good, and nice to eat in the patio. And lastly, the hostess Loman, is a super-lovely woman who made us feel very welcome and comfortable and went out of her way to make sure we were. When we go back to Dakar (and we will!), this is the only place we'll stay!!! Thanks!
