Ravens Nest Tranquil Forest Suite 5 min to Downtown Arcata with Stunning Redwood Views bevindt zich in Arcata. Best stay ever! Raven's Nest, and its host Andrea exceeded my hopes and expectations. The forest and bay views make this place so special. I was traveling through and booked very late, arrived to the guest suite exhausted and was so happy to land in such a warm, peaceful, inviting, beautifully decorated space. The bed was SO comfortable, nice linens, excellent kitchenette. The nighttime silence was a feature unto itself. The host reached out to make sure I had what I needed and to provide local recommendations. Highly recommend!

Black Sands Inn bevindt zich in Whitethorn en biedt gratis WiFi. De kamers bij het hotel hebben een flatscreen-tv. The road to Shelter Cove to the "Black Sands Inn" is challenging and winds for about 20 miles. On the day of our arrival, we still didn't have an access code for self-check-in by 4 p.m., so before we took the road to Shelter Cove, we called the hotel's hotline, which confirmed our booking and assured us that the access code would be sent to us immediately by email. When we arrived at the "Black Sands Inn," we realized there was absolutely no smartphone reception. We tried calling the hotline, but we didn't get a signal, possibly because our phone provider is in Germany, and the transmission wasn't working at that location. We asked guests, who gave us the hotel's Wi-Fi password, but it didn't work, so we started to panic, as it was already after 5 p.m. ``` Luckily, we found a free "Starlink" while searching for Wi-Fi – only to discover that we hadn't received an email with a room number or an access code. An American couple lent us their smartphone, which we used to call the hotline again, and the necessary data was finally given to us directly over the phone. Two guests told us that they had experienced the same drama upon arrival and were also very upset about this situation, as the door locks are also very unreliable. This truly no service in providing room details and the lack of access data on the part of the hotel, and that guests knowing that there is no smartphone reception, is absolutely unacceptable. The suite itself, the location, and the cleanliness of the hotel are truly top-notch. Being able to see the Pacific Ocean and the wildlife from the living room window was fantastic. On the first evening, a guest knocked on our door because his door lock had locked and his access code no longer worked, but his smartphone was in the room. We gave the guest our smartphone, and he then had to get a new access code from the hotline.

Home2 Suites By Hilton Eureka ligt in Eureka, op 16 km van Humboldt State University, en is voorzien van kamers met airconditioning en een gedeelde lounge. Basic breakfast and oatmeal was cold but on the whole it was good and as expected. Be prompt as they do close breakfast on the dot of 10am.

Becky and Dave are amazing hosts, we were offered chocolate on arrival and the property they call home is so thoughtfully laid out, from the room with the ocean sound machine, to the delicious breakfasts cooked by Dave, these two went above and beyond, even accomodating our gluten free request with special food. Their recommendations of activities to do in the area were amazing and I know we have made some friends for life with these two free spirits. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone looking for a home style accomodation in northern California or anyone wanting to explore the stunning Redwoods! Cozy NorCal Cottage 2 Mi to Redwoods and Beaches! is gelegen in Orick. De accommodatie biedt gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Very convenient location to visit Redwoods. The owner send few email to make sure that we can get to the cottage without problem..great communication. The cottage is nice, very clean and cozy as it named..the kitchen is well stock..and the owner even offered fresh homemade bread and popcorn..good hot shower..good night sleep after long day hiking in the park...

The Groves at Redway Beach - Craftsman bevindt zich in Redway. Deze accommodatie aan het strand heeft een patio, gratis privéparkeren en gratis WiFi. Incredible location and setting which outweigh all other considerations. Lovely bathrooms. Check in details v efficient. Breakfast in fridge was very handy. Beautifully planted around the house.

Elk Meadow Cabins 13B Bears Den - Single Room ligt in Orick. Er is gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Het dichtstbijzijnde vliegveld is Luchthaven Arcata-Eureka, op 47 km van de vakantiewoning. It was a super cute, comfortable, very clean, cozy and actually quite luxurious cabin! We had a lovely one night there. It is very quiet and peaceful. Also, it is super close to main attractions in the redwood national and state park like e.g. fern canyon! The staff is very helpful and friendly! And as I already mentioned it was suuuper clean, I have rarely seen such a clean shower! They also provide a little choice of tea and coffee which is super cute. The only thing not 100% perfect was the WiFi connection if you were in a cabin a bit off the office building. I guess, it is not that bad because you are on holiday and shouldn’t spend much time on your phone/laptop. But still, if you need to do some work (what you shouldn’t do as you are on holiday) or you want to watch a movie then it can be a bit annoying as things take ages to load. But just as I said, you can also enjoy your time just reading or playing board games so it really was not that big of a deal!!

Elk Meadow Cabins Ranch Site Oreq-B bevindt zich in Orick. Deze vakantiewoning heeft een tuin en gratis WiFi. Comfortable and decorated with thought. Very cute decor. The yard was very large and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. Everything was very clean inside. The central location in Orick is great. There is always a friendly and helpful contact for questions and concerns.
