I loved everything about the Brass Lantern Inn. The staff were so welcoming and the location is gorgeous. There are lots of places to just sit and stare at the beautiful landscape - inside, outside or from the hot tub. The Inn is located close enough to Stowe town to be near the action, but far enough out that you avoid the traffic congestion. The breakfast was amazing and the surprise afternoon snack was always super tasty. The bed was insanely comfortable and I also loved loved loved the white noise machine. I would stay here again without hesitation.

The folks running this Inn are absolutely amazing. We visited in winter and perhaps were the trouble-makers - always getting into a fix. We got stuck in a parking lot because we arrived shortly after a snowstorm. Guess what? The Innkeepers helped us get unstuck! When our car would not start they helped us jump-start it. We stayed only for a few days but we needed some help every day and they were always there for us - a text away! Best service I have ever received and it felt much more personal than when you stayed at a hotel. My travel companion absolutely loved the number of blankets and pillows offered. Since we are used to staying at hotels where only a sheet is provided we were pleasantly surprised. Here, a proper blanket + a fluffy throw greeted us in the room - very cozy! Outside of the room, there are a few common/shared spaces. One such space is the dining area and a kitchenette. The kitchenette space had a shared fridge, electric kettle, and a microwave. This allowed us to bring some groceries so that we could prepare our lunches and hot tea for the ski slopes. When we stayed the kitchenette was also stocked with paper cups and paper plates, which we appreciated. We had an amazing time and cannot say enough great words about this place and the folks who run it!

The location was incredible and very peaceful. The receptionist was very helpful. On our last day, our 2.5 year-old kid broke a lamp. We brought the lamp to him asking for how much did we have to pay, and he acknowledged that it was an accident and there was nothing to worry about. This is one of those things that makes you return to a hotel.

Fantastic inn with some of the best and most guest friendly hosts we have met on our many trips. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. My physical limitation was no issue and I was given a parking spot around the corner of our room. The room was beautiful, with fire place and comfi bed. Highly recommended.

Dit motel in Vermont ligt aan Route 4, West Woodstock Road, op 8 minuten rijden van het centrum van Woodstock en op slechts 15 minuten rijden van de skyeship Gondola en de skipistes van Killington. The room was bright and cheerful with nice gallery walls showcasing fun artwork. The bed was clean and comfortable. The towels were super soft. Probably the best towels I’ve seen at any accommodation. Complimentary coffee, tea and hot cider were great as well as the discounts at local restaurants and shops. The owners were very prompt to respond and helpful. We couldn’t hear any other guests. It was pet friendly which we love but we were also never disturbed by any of the four-legged guests.
