I enjoyed it so much that I felt a little sad when I left. I stayed in a six-bed dorm, which was spacious enough, had a balcony, and even a bathroom almost as big as the room itself. What really makes this hostel special, though, is the atmosphere. They organize fun daily activities, offer a free breakfast, and even have an hour of unlimited free beer from 6 to 7 PM, plus free snacks for an hour each day. There’s also a pool, a pool table, and table tennis. On top of all that, they run different classes, like candle-making and coffee-making. I took the coffee class and absolutely loved it, super fun and informative! If you’re staying long-term, they even have a gym, which is a great bonus.

The Grand Sunrise Palace sure has a big name to live up to. And in many aspects it certainly does. The architecture is old school grand with flashbacks of 20th century romance. The room we stayed in harkened back to 1930’s opulence complete with stand alone tub and a round bed. We were met at reception by Kathy and Amy who work at reception but were kind enough to assign themselves to us as our personal concierge. They helped us find transport to Ancient Town and even recommended great restaurants and tailors to get suits made. Overall the stay at Grand Sunrise was very good. The hotel room was spacious and well appointed. We had the suite which wasn’t the biggest we’ve stayed in so I’m not sure what size a standard room would be like. The breakfast buffet was vast and the food was well presented and delicious. There were Asian dishes as well as western staples which was great. Overall I would highly recommend staying at Grand Sunrise Hotel for a great family vacation.

It is right next to the old town, rooms are basic but have all you need, the pool is a real comfort after a long sweaty day up and about. Service was great. HY Local Budget Hotel - 5 mins walk to Hoi An Ancient Town is aantrekkelijk gelegen in Hội An, en biedt kamers met airconditioning, een restaurant, gratis WiFi en een bar. The room is basic but has all the essentials one would need- fridge, aircon, fan, hair dryer, HOT water and Wifi, so it is really good value for money. The location is a quiet side street that is still a very short walk to old town so it's extremely convenient. Most importantly all the staff working there are very lovely and always greet you with a smile and are happy to help. Especially grateful to Wendy who not only gave me detailed directions for every aspect of my trip, she was forever willing to go out of her way to make things easier for me and always checking in to make sure that I had something to do and advising me on where to eat and go! I didn't have to do any research or planning on my own because she took care of everything!
