A beautifully furnished bungalow, looking into a lovely garden fringed with rainforest and with a glimpse of the sea at beautiful Thornton Beach.. Big blue Ulysses butterflies fluttered amongst the flowers, a cassowary visited at breakfast time. A wonderful bathroom! Friendly owners with great tips for our Daintree sojourn; they even organised wildlife activities.

Ellis Beach Oceanfront Holiday Park ligt op een goudkleurig zandstrand van 5 km en beschikt over een zwembad, een kinderbad en een restaurant. Honestly, for us this was a gem to discover. We'd never stayed in this kind of accomodation but the photos looked amazing and truthfully, you expect a certain amount of "creativity" with the photos but when we arrived.....we were totally blown away. Spotless unit, amazing view and such lovely hosts. Our next stay, we will try the waterfrontage units but that is just a personal preference. The garden units also had a great view and even the campsites were well appointed and perfectly equipped. Seriously - dont overlook this fabulous piece of tropical paradise!

It looked so well put together, so much attention to detail; the owners love their bungalow and probably their visitors, too, and it shows! It‘s clean and cozy and wonderful - with the sunrise over the beach lighting up your breakfast table. We were sad to only stay one night.
