Lovely quiet area, but walking distance to shops etc. Good restaurant next door which was very popular. Happy to supply a cotton top sheet and softer pillows when requested. Good value for money. Great location near shops, restaurants and Tuk Tuks for Charlie Beach. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. If you want a western breakfast you can't beat their sourdough toast and delicious homemade yoghurt. Their homemade coconut ice cream served with mango and peanuts is sheer bliss. They also have a shop with a much more interesting selection of clothing than anywhere else on the island. I'd definitely go back.

The Italian food was next level 😊 Great snorkelling 200m off the beach, at low tide you can walk out to the reef to snorkel, would suggest taking reef shoes if you have them as there is dead coral on the way out to the reef.

Situated in Ko Mook and nestled in nature, Mookies bungalow offers cosy tents and bungalows. The property is just a 5-minute walk from the beach. We loved Mookies and the staff as a whole were so kind! We stayed in little bungalows that was simple and clean. We had a massage while we were there which was wonderful. Charlie’s Beach was a walk away, which we loved. We went to Koh Mook to relax, so our days we spent down at Charlie’s beach, read books and swam. We would grab some chairs at Mong’s bar at the end of the beach. The people working there were so nice and the food was really good as well. We rented bikes from Mookies and rode around the village, did the Emerald Caves on our own at 7:30-8:00 am (bring a head lamp), Ate a our meals at Mookies and just relaxed into our days. Our 3 nights slipped by. Mookies is family run and you will be in very good hands if you stay there. It’s island life so go there and relax!!!!
