Stayed in a cabin with our dog, 17 month old and husband over a weekend in January. The place was absolutely perfect. The cabin was cosy and clean, the shower and toilet facilities were sparkling clean and the kitchen area was so thoughtfully set up. The campsite itself is in the middle of a county park which was fabulous for a little one and a dog and it was only a short walk to the local Co-Op, pub and cafe. So good that we have booked to come back again.

If you want to stay in a unique property, one that is different to staying in a regular hotel then a yurt is for you. As a family of five we struggle to find accommodation that is affordable and doesn’t force you to book two rooms. The yurt was large enough for us all without treading on each others toes. The facilities were excellent - spacious bathroom, kitchenette with a small fridge and stove and all the essentials you would expect. Lots to do in terms of facilities, games galore, and wildlife which is always a hit with the kids. Beautiful surroundings and even managed to see a few shooting stars as our stay coincided with the Perseids meteor shower.
