Everyone treated us so well, the owners and the staff accommodated everything we needed they booked us safaris in advance, woke up at 5.30am to see us off and even gave us a blanket to take with us to keep us warm! On the day we didn't have safaris we asked to go to a temple which was all organised for us and the daughter of the owners came with us to act as our guide which was so lovely. When we arrived we were a bit under the weather from our time in Delhi, and our host was so accommodating catering meals to our needs and offered to get us medicine, which we really appreciated. The food was perhaps the best we have had in India, and our one regret is that we couldn't eat more (or stay longer!). The location was amazing, and we spent every evening bird watching by the river and saw so many cool birds, deer and monkeys. The tents were lovely and had all the luxuries you need but also felt like being out in nature. The gardens are lovely and full of wildlife and we spotted so much from just our porch. Honestly can't recommend this place enough if yiu stay anywhere else in Jim Corbett you're missing out! We will defiantly be back!

The location is absolutely the best in mussoorie.. very courteous staff.. nice food.. a shout out to amit in the waitstaff. And the best of all kajal the friendly doggy..

Moksham Himalayan Campsite Pangot bevindt zich in Nainital, op 38 km van Bhimtal Lake, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de bergen. We had a fantastic 3 nights stay at Moksham. Right from the moment we reached till the last good-byes, everything was spot on. The hosts - Yashika and Ankit were very hospitable and they have put in their sweat & toil to make this a property what it is. And this has also rubbed on to all staff who work at Moksham. Property has a gorgeous location - overlooking a valley in a sleepy village called Ghuggu Kham near Pangot. You wake up to a numerous chirping birds. And evenings and sunsets are to die for. The food is excellent - in taste and portions. Breakfast was included - It wasn't a buffet, but a number of options can be ordered. The dining area has a very elegant vibe (good music playlists :) ) and it's adorned with numerous books all around. The property is dotted with a lot of flowering plants, which attracts birds, and butterflies. This is a campsite. The tents (not rooms) are well appointed and has everything to have a comfortable stay. Special mention must go to couple of walks we did during our stay (organized by Moksham): Forest Walk and Bird Watching trail. This was ably managed by Deepak, who is very knowledgeable on local flora and fauna. This was made even better by the 3 special hosts (Julie, Bhairav and Damru - the dogs), who were super energetic and entertaining!

Tanuja and her husband Anindia have created unique, thoughtful, and luxurious accomodation in both places They have a close relationship with the local community which enabled us to connect with the locals in a really positive way Tanuja took us on walks through the mountains and the local villages as well as accompanying us to the Dusshera festival and shared with us her deep understanding of local customs , the flora and fauna and history of the region She also was there at the end of the phone to rescue us when we got lost wandering around Ranikhet after a visit to the Ranikhet club!
