The yurt was fantastic. It was 10 times the value of a hotel or the like in the area. It was -15 outside and we were toasty in the yurt. The beds were the best I slept on in the country. The breakfast was good and checked all the boxes. I selfishly wanted more omelets/waffle hot bar options, but the breakfast was beyond good, and this was one of very few places that actually included breakfast with the hotel, so I will give their breakfast a 10/10 as well. Location was perfect too for both Aurora Viewing (we saw a massive aurora on 11/22/24) and we were right next to Geysir and waterfalls. We could see the glacier from the front porch. Very private yurts too! My pictures are of the aurora we saw from the front door of the Yurt. You can easily see them from these. I also included an indoor picture and one of the grounds.

It’s so nicely decorated—from bed, to kitchenette, to sitting area, to deck! The bedding is lush and warm, and even included a heated mattress pad. The kitchenette has everything needed for a short stay. And the location is perfectly away from light so you can see the aurora from bed—of she’s out that night! The house was absolutely amazing with responses too!

Be sure to ask for enough firewood to survive through the nights . The staff responded our questions and requests very promptly . Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect, it was warm, the view was amazing and the check in was smooth. Totally good value for money, compared to all the other domes in Iceland. Definitely recommend!

We found the staff to be very welcoming. We were also lucky to see the northern lights while we stayed which made this the best accommodation we stayed at!!
