Super location with tents spaced out between private winding paths on a hill with a view. Dining area with fireplace and washroom. Tents with washroom also. Great dinner was an added bonus. This was super for a group of work colleagues visiting the park.

Enkusero Mara ligt in Aitong en biedt gratis WiFi, een tuin, een terras en een bar. Alle units hebben een eigen badkamer met douche. Er is ook gratis toiletartikelen en badjassen. Small (3 tents, one of which is a large family tent), intimate, charming camp, unfenced, ideally located, in the north conservancy, just 5 minutes from the Maasai Mara’s Musiara gate entrance, 15 minutes from the air strip. Completely local ownership and management, which we highly value and one of the reasons we chose this, together with the location and the small size. We had tent 3, high on stilts, large, private, wooden floors, huge netted windows, outside deck all around, unobstructed views on the savannah. Big comfortable bed with good mattress, en-suite bathroom with toilet and huge shower, running water. Electricity and hot water are solar - electricity is around the clock, so maybe the camp tops it up at night with a generator, but we never heard one. Large, charming traditional mess tent, with bar area, and extra lounge, wonderful outdoor deck with fire pit, small plunge pool with deck chairs. Food was excellent, they will apparently cater to dietary needs but have a fixed menu. Most meals in the mess tent, some scenically set in the bush. All drinks were included as was daily laundry. Highly knowledgeable and dedicated guides (William the owner, and Alex), game drives were mostly inside the park and arranged as and when we wished, with picnic breakfast and/or lunch, or not, as we wished. Park fees were included which made the offer we got superb value for money. We had been on safari several times almost 4 decades ago when luxury safaris were mobile or semi-permanent tented camps, small, unfenced, only with simple drop toilets and hot bucket showers, communication only via radio, bush cooking, communal mess tent and fire pit… but with an abundance of local staff delivering perfect, exclusive service. That’s the feeling we were looking for again and this is the closest we found on our trip to Kenya: very similar traditional, exclusive safari feeling , experience and charm, with great service, modern comforts, but no excesses and low imprint.

Entumoto Main Camp in Ololaimutiek biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de tuin, een buitenzwembad en een tuin. De eigen badkamer is uitgerust met een douche, gratis toiletartikelen en een haardroger. Fantastisch grote familiesuites, en alle mogelijke comfort. Perfect gelegen naast masai mara reserve, in the conservancy, wat een goede aanvulling is omdat daar de dingen mogen die in masai mara niet mogelijk zijn zoals bv sundowners, walking en night safari’s, off road rijden. Dieren bewegen van ene gebied ne andere, zijn geen omheiningen dus zelfde dieren daar. Uitstekende gids, Ibrahim. Project ondersteunt Masai community ook.

Olengoti Eco Safari Camp ligt in Talek met uitzicht op de tuin en heeft een restaurant, roomservice, bar, tuin en terras. Excellent staff and location !

Julia's River Camp is gelegen in Talek met uitzicht op de bergen en heeft een restaurant, een gedeelde lounge, bar, tuin en terras. De luxe tent beschikt over zowel gratis WiFi als privéparkeren. We had 2 breakfasts out on our game drives and 2 in camp. All were amazing. On the game drives we had pancakes, french toast, maple syrup, bacon, sausage, hard boiled eggs,, fruit, yoghurt, tea, coffee and juice all served up on the bonnet of our vehicle. We had the same in camp with the addition of cereal and a choice of eggs. Really filling and delicious.

Entumoto Safari Camp ligt hoog in de heuvels van de afgelegen en private Megwarra-helling. The best part of Entumoto Camp is without a doubt the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Our guide, Isaac, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the most unforgettable experience we’ve ever had. Their knowledge, patience, and passion for the wildlife and local culture made every game drive truly special. Traveling with two young children (ages 5 and 7), we were amazed by how attentive and kind everyone was with them. The staff made sure our kids were comfortable, safe, and happy at all times — treating them as part of the Entumoto family. The camp itself is beautiful, with stunning views of the Masa Mara reservation, comfortable tents, and delicious meals served in a warm, family-like atmosphere. We left Entumoto Camp with full hearts, unforgettable memories, and a strong desire to return someday. Thank you to the entire team for giving us such a remarkable experience.

Maji Moto Eco Camp bevindt zich in Maji Moto, en biedt tuin, gratis WiFi, roomservice, en een 24-uursreceptie. Deze luxe tent heefteen bar. Gratis privéparkeren is beschikbaar bij de luxe tent. We hebben hier een fantastisch verblijf gehad. De locatie is prachtig en heel rustig. Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het eten was simpel, maar erg smaakvol. Een van de hoogtepunten was de wandeling met Martin – hij wist ontzettend veel te vertellen over de cultuur van de Masai en de dieren in de omgeving. Ook de Masai dans was super om te zien. Echt een aanrader!

Olare Mara Kempinski ligt aan de oever van de rivier de Ntiakitiak in Masai Mara en biedt een panoramisch uitzicht op de savanne- en wildsoorten. Het heeft een restaurant, een bar en een... Geweldige lodge! Schoon, prachtige locatie, heerlijk eten en vriendelijk personeel. Game drives met Ben waren top. Elke avond legde Jackson een warme kruik in bed. Echt fantastisch verblijf!

Tayari Luxury Tented Camp - Mara ligt in Sekenani en biedt gratis WiFi, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. We had an amazing stay at this camp! 🌿 The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We especially want to express our gratitude to Irene — she organized a private safari for us remotely in the shortest time and at a very good price. The camp is located just 5 minutes’ drive from the Masai Mara gate, which made our safari experience even more convenient. The tents were spacious, with a beautiful large terrace. Inside, everything was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. A special thanks for the delicious food — everything was perfectly on time, without any delays. We are also extremely grateful for the thoughtful help when we realized we had left behind a piece of jewelry. The team managed to arrange everything and have it delivered to Nairobi in just two days — for which we are truly thankful. We are sure we will return again, and we sincerely appreciate the entire staff for making our stay unforgettable

The property is set right on the river, offering an unbeatable view — we spent hours simply watching hippos play and bathe just a few feet away. It’s an experience in itself! The camp is beautifully spread out, giving you the true feeling of being in the wild while staying completely secure. The staff was extremely courteous and always ready to help, no matter the time of day. From arranging custom requests to ensuring our comfort, they made sure everything ran smoothly. The food was delicious and the hospitality, top-notch. Whether you're here for wildlife or just want to unwind in nature, Fig Tree is the perfect place. Highly recommend for those looking to experience the heart of the Masai Mara with comfort and style!
