If you are looking for a full immersion in the Bedouins' traditions, the Authentic Desert Camp hosted by Saeed is the best experience you could find in Oman desert ! From Omani hospitality to traditional dancing demonstrations, through a full tour of the desert, meet up with camels roaming around, we felt so comfortable with Saeed, who shared with passion all his knowledge with us. Authentic food was served as well, including traditional Omani dishes and fresh grills, including traditional bread cooking in the fire. It was an amazing experience, totally adapted for kids, group of friends and families!

Staying at Desert Diamond Private camp was one of the best experiences I had in Oman. The camp is private and peaceful, and the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The food was delicious and varied — I especially enjoyed the camel meat at dinner. Breakfast on the soft desert sand was unforgettable. The room and bathroom were both beautifully decorated and very clean. The stargazing trip was a magical experience that added a special touch to the stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable desert escape.

You only see the 3 tents that belong to the camp and nothing else. On the way to the camp we saw many camps very close to the main road and the experience there must be different. And the best part is Rashid! He was very helpful from the beginning, communicating frequently and always positive. He picked us up from the meeting point and we followed him in our car which was amazing! He also organized additional activities (dune bashing and quad tour) for us which we enjoyed a lot! He even had to deal with many issues that the group staying in other tents had and never hesitated to help. The 2 guys helping with preparation of everything were very friendly and the food they cooked was delicious! Absolutely recommend!

We had beautiful sunset and sunrise. We booked the dinner and breakfast which was delicious. Badr was great, he picked us up from the carpark and dropped us off to our car the next day. On the way he showed us the camels and a Bedouin camp nearby. Him and the other staff also spend time with everyone around the bonfire telling us stories about life in the desert and singing songs. The tents and bathrooms are basic but the bed is comfortable and it feels like an authentic experience. We would visit again and would like to express our gratitude to Badr for making this a great experience for us.

From the moment we booked, we received clear and consistent communication about the arrangements for our stay in the dunes. We were picked up at the said location (easy to find) and the two brothers that runs it made us feel at home, they ensure that we were comfortable and also offering tea and snacks. We had dinner on the location, it was very good and they ensure the menu was according to our food restrictions and preference.
