Lovely clean well equipped house in a wonderful setting. A twin and double room in the main house with external stairs to 3rd bedroom (double ensuite) below the house, well equipped kitchen, lounge with smart TV and a family bathroom. Mid-may the pool was empty because it is still probably out of season. The gardens are the property’s crowning glory with a comfortable verandah to sit and eat or listen to the birds. We absolutely loved our stay and would love to return. Thank you Joao (pronounced juh-wow)

Excellent view and experience in the nature. Large, good quality tents, well equipped and comfortable. Excellent support facilities (swimming pools, restaurant). Good local meals and children / pet friendly environment.

Booked last minute and it served the purpose of a room and private bathroom. Good hot shower.

The hotel is unique, it has an elevated position, fabulous views across to Spain, and wonderful sunsets. Great attention to detail, everything in our room was clean and fresh.

Long time we were trying to book and it was a amazing experience. The place was beautiful and infinity pool was a relaxing place to spend the time. The room was nice and clean and the view through Serra da Gardunha was amazing especially at the sunset time. The staff were very friendly and available all the time. Bruno explained everything about the property and made some suggestions about what to do / restaurants. Looking forward to come back again 😉

We loved the peace & quiet of the area. Wildlife on the doorstep & lovely walks nearby. And Figo the cat, who will happily guide you to the river. A variety of breakfasts was brought to us in a basket each day. Little kitchen was handy for evening meals else it's a short drive to restaurants.

Warm, homely, welcoming and helpful :) extra bed for older child and they were so excited when they saw the bathtub in the room haha! Views were amazing and kitchen well stocked with all utensils. Lovely host, kind and helped us out when we rang a couple of times. Decorated amazingly and loads of places to relax. Very welcoming to children. Hot showers and bathtub :)
