Nice walking trails around the area as well. 10/10 for sure

Our host, Alet, could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. He was very friendly and happy to answer our questions and queries. The isolated location was just what we were looking for. The safari tent was well kitted out and the supply of wood perfect for fuelling the braai and hot tub. Alet even gave us fresh dry wood when our pile got very soggy due to torrential rain!

We loved our stay, it’s private enough that you can really relax. It was clean and comfortable and would definitely come back. My only suggestion is to make sure ice trays are full before new guests check in - but it did not take away from our stay.

We were especially impressed by the incredible silence at night, beneath a breathtaking starry sky – far away from light pollution and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The beds were extremely comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean, and the décor matched the natural surroundings perfectly. The hosts were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about making our stay unforgettable. They gave us wonderful tips for wildlife spotting on the property, and indeed, during our stay we were able to watch zebras and antelope through the camp’s own telescope. If you're looking for an immersive nature experience with privacy, this is the perfect place. We will definitely return – Zandfontein is a place where you can truly unwind and recharge.
