Campsites in Salzburg

Jan‘s Biohof is a cozy, newly built accommodation in a remote area close to Salzburg. It takes 15-20 min to reach the city centre by car depending on traffic. We spent 3 wonderful nights in a modern room with our own restroom and shower; Netflix was available for use. During the night it was quiet and comfy. The family is open to any kind of conversation, friendly and caring. If we needed help for anything they were offering a helping hand. We would recommend to book a stay if you prefer a family-like atmosphere and love animals (dogs, cats, cows, sheep, pigs, etc.).

We totally enjoyed our holidays in the tent there. We do not agree with other evaluations of this camp that were giving low rates. There are no powerlines causing noise (although the powerlines were visible in the maps, they were not there anymore). We had our tent in the field at the end of the village under a mountain. Maybe at the far distance we could have heard a fading noise from the road or from a waterfall, but a lot more we heard sheeps and a ram from the close field which was actually more funny and interesting as we are used to hear rather rosters in the morning. :) It is safe for families with children. The owner and staff were very friendly towards us. The pricing was very convenient. You can wash dishes and wash laundry there, but there is no stove to prepare warm meal. There are up-to-date shower rooms and wc, always clean, with warm water and with soaps and toilet paper. Our general evaluation is 10/10 despite few minor cons. We would choose this camp site again.

Everything was absolutely perfect! Will definitely come back again. Loved it.
