I came as a stranger and left as a friend I stayed at Dolphin Camp in Dahab and honestly had a wonderful time. The service is outstanding – the whole crew is incredibly helpful and every request is taken care of without hesitation. Michael, the owner, is an absolute blast to be around: super social, warm-hearted and always ready to help. He even invited me to a grill party, which made me feel truly welcome. My room was comfortable, properly isolated and cleaned on demand (even several times during my stay). I also really enjoyed the cute little coffee place by the beach. The location is beautiful and there’s a fantastic sunrise spot just a few steps away. If you need anything – just ask – they will help you immediately. I genuinely felt like part of a family. Overall, I had a great experience and would happily return. I arrived as a guest and left as a friend.

We had an amazing time at this quiet family camp. We were welcomed in a home, there was great food, good music and lovely vibes. A very serene place with mindful, peaceful and generous people. This place is really special.

Clean and calm place 20 meter to beach and the centre

The staff were lovely and very accommodating, the pool was wonderful to cool off after a big day in the sun. things are always being cleaned and we felt very welcomed there! will definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone heading to dahab! there’s also an opportunity to volunteer to stay for free, which is a very cool experience and great for budget travellers!

The staff is very friendly, work on keeping the space clean and is always here to chat or to take care of any demands. The hut is super cozy, well decorated and has air conditioning. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. The shared area is huge, very comfortable, with nice background music and cute pets around. I really love chilling there. It's close to the beach and any facilities. I recommande this place 😊

Yes, 20 meters. We could step out of our room and be on the shore within seconds, soaking up the stunning Red Sea views. Plus, being right in the center of Dahab means you’re surrounded by vibrant cafes, shops, and local life, making it the perfect base to explore the town. The rooms themselves are an incredible bargain. For less than the price of a hostel bunk, you get your own private room and bathroom. Clean, comfortable, and cozy—what more could you ask for? There’s also a lovely communal area where we loved hanging out, meeting fellow travelers, or just chilling with a book. The hammock was a personal favorite, and the friendly dogs on-site added a charming touch to the laid-back vibe. Breakfast deserves a special mention. The traditional Egyptian breakfast was a delightful start to the day—full of local flavors that we truly enjoyed. That said, it might not be for everyone if you’re used to something more continental, but for us, it was part of the authentic experience. Alaska Camp Hotel strikes the perfect balance between affordability, comfort, and charm. If you're visiting Dahab and want to be close to the sea, immersed in the town’s vibrant energy, and surrounded by friendly vibes without breaking the bank, this is the place to be. The setting of this lodge and the people there are what make it so special! We had such a good time and will be back in future. You’re seconds away from amazing snorkelling and the hosts are so friendly!
