I was unable to make the trip so my friend bought the break off me for herself and her son & her friend,I found the host extremely rude communication was very poor 165 pounds for a one night stay is a complete rip off too I expect a hot tub or a 3 night stay for this price ! I was extremely stressed out over the messages and communication from this host never had this before on previous bookings to other places do don't know what the ladies problem was ? 🤔 She made it extremely hard work messages too and from getting info wrong on the booking also & the list of rules makes you not want to breeve! My friend said the caravan was lovely and the site but definitely not worth all that money for a one night stay ! If I had not paid the extra 25 pounds my friend would have to rush to get out of the caravan by 10 ! 😳 Treat people how you would like to be treated with respect and listen to customers instead of being so defensive would be my advice

The Lakeside Glamping pod was really well thought out. There was a fully stocked 'kitchen' (utensils, mixing bowls etc) with 2 electric hobs and a microwave. Welcome pack with 2 mini bottles of wine, and bare essentials (biscuits, mini milk jiggers, tea, coffee, hot chocolate) presented nicely on the table. Bathroom contained mini toiletries like a hotel room would, and there was a small washing up pack by the sink (sponge, washing up liquid, 2 x tea towels and a cloth). If you arrive late and night and haven't been to the shops it was these little finishing touches that were lovely. There was also at least 6 USB sockets in addition to plugs, as well as a torch. Lots of local information in a folder including walks and stile free walks/trails for the less mobile.

It was loverly and peaceful you get a bus straight outside which took to town and back and get buses around the lake district very easy no need to drive came every 20 min

Our lodge was beautiful, enough space and utilities, very cosy. The view was stunning, and our host was very friendly. Had a lovely couple of days and would definitely recommend to others.

The caravan was lovely- clean and comfy. Everything you needed including towels tea towels etc Host thought of everything with some treats left - and some for our grandchildren - not expected but appreciated and a lovely touch- correspondence with owner second to none- he really wanted to make sure we had a great time
