Staying at Turon Gates to visit the nearby Capertee Valley for birdwatching. Loved the place. Beautiful setting on a peaceful river and Gang-Gang Cuckatoos right outside the cabin ! We also saw hundreds of Kangaroos nearby from the road leading to our cabin ! The cabin was spacious and very confortable. Excellent place for the money.

You can play table tennis at the campground, and the area is popular for hiking. K2 River Island Nature Retreat has a picnic area and a year-round outdoor pool. Staff was really friendly. I loved the pool and spa. I enjoyed exploring there property in my 4WD.

Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. I stayed at Mountain View after a recommendation from a friend and it didn’t disappoint! The tent was amazing, the gardens gorgeous and the view unbeatable! The facilities were clean and central with everything we needed, and still had their historical charm. Kath was a wonderful host who is super friendly and accommodated all our needs. Our 2 doggos loved it there as well. I’ll definitely be back!
