Tunis Tone Ecolodge & Campsite is gelegen in El-Fajoem met uitzicht op het meer en heeft een restaurant, een gedeelde keuken, bar, tuin, buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open is en terras. The view of the lake is lovely, and the dinner I had there was delicious. I’d go back to stay here :) one of my favorite things is that there are cozy nooks to sit and read in or enjoy the views of the lake or the stars.

First time ever in Fayoum and we thrilled by the hospitality and the generosity of the staff! Ramadan literally blew our minds away with his kindness. He made sure we had the best time. Got us dinner and took us to the lake by toktok at night. I asked him where to wash our clothes, next minute he washed and dried and folded them for us. My heart is full!

Sunset Camp bevindt zich in Dār as Salām en biedt een zithoek. Je kunt bij de camping genieten van een à la carte-ontbijt. We've had a wonderful time in Sunset Camp. Wael was so helpful with us, and we were very happy with the excursions he planned for us. Bassem, the guide he sent us to visit the desert was full of knowledge and so carring with us (helping us to have fair prices when he could have just stay in the car like the other guides). If you want a special experience while staying in Fayoum, you should go through Wael ! Dinner was very local and tasteful, and there is enough to eat for two in one dish. A large campfire is organized at night, and everyone is gathering around to sing and dance, a large group of Egyptians (It was holidays time in Egypt) was there that night, and they made us feel we were part of the family. Tents are simple but it's a fair value for the price. Definitely a place you should step by if you like to go out of the typical tourist tracks

Flamingo camp bevindt zich in Dār as Salām met uitzicht op de bergen en heeft een restaurant, een gedeelde keuken, snackbar, tuin, terras en barbecue. The place is distant, no noises. You can go for a walk to the desert and mountains straight from the camp. Nicely made camp, friendly nice people and helpful. For the price it's a great place to get away.

It just doesn't get better. I'm so thankful for this experience. Will definitely be back with my friends and family. 10/10
