Redstone Cottage Gal Oya in Galgamuwa biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de bergen, een tuin, een terras, een restaurant en een bar. De camping beschikt over zowel gratis WiFi als privéparkeren. This was honestly one of the most welcoming and thoughtful places we’ve ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, Sydney and his team looked after us so well. The chef asked what we fancied and was very accommodating. He cooked the most amazing curry, lunch and honey hoppers for breakfast (which we were introduced to and absolutely loved). They even gave us a packed lunch for our elephant boat safari, which they organised, along with a great driver. There were little extra touches that made such a different, like beers in the fridge when we arrived (and they went to get more when we ran out), a cooking class with a local family, a really interesting forest walk with an indigenous guide and when we asked if we could do some laundry they sorted it for us with no trouble at all. The cottage is in a beautiful, quiet spot with amazing Mountain View’s, a perfect place to switch off. Would highly recommend supporting this amazing project. Such a great experience 😊😊

Crystal Water Inn is gelegen in Bibile en biedt gratis WiFi en een tuin met een terras en uitzicht op de rivier. Toevallig beland bij Crystal Water Inn onderweg naar Arugam Bay, wat een heerlijke plek! Mooie locatie tussen rijstvelden, bergen en palmbomen. We zagen veel vogels en genoten van de rust. Vriendelijke familie, eigenaar nam ons zelfs mee naar een waterval en meer. Hadden ons hier ook een paar dagen kunnen vermaken. Aanrader!
