The campground features a children's playground and a picnic area. We only stayed one night before the ferry but the cabin would be great for a short beach vacation. The cabin was spacious for the 3 of us and beds were fine. We arrived after the reception was closed but the instructions were clear. We didn't realise the Cabins were down the road so no need to go through the barrier. Heating worked well. Easy check out too. Very dark at night but there's outside lights. 8 min drive into town, not walkable as there's no street lights along most of the road.
