Hostel Sui Kyoto is gunstig gelegen in het centrum van Kyoto, en biedt kamers met airconditioning, een gedeelde lounge, gratis WiFi en een terras. I love the interior and the ambience. It was so cozy and comfy, felt like I was home! The receptionist was so friendly and helpful, he even gave me some recommendations on what to eat around the area. The hostel is located inside a quiet neighborhood somewhere in the north of Kyoto (near Kinkaku-Ji, the famous golden temple). The facilities provided were so abundant for the price paid. The capsule/room was very comfortable for the night sleep as well, I slept like a cat throughout the entirety of my one-week stay. Note that I’m a light sleeper and usually hostels like this are not so ideal for a satisfying sleep. I’d say this hostel has to be the best one I’ve ever stayed so far. Highly recommended for long term stay as well. If you decide to stay in Kyoto as a solo traveler, I really couldn’t recommend this place enough. The only little downside might be that it’s a bit far away from the city center, some popular places like Gion, and the JR stations (Kyoto-Kawaramachi & Kyoto Station). You need to take the bus for roughly 30 minutes per trip to get to the places mentioned above. But overall, if you desire a good night’s rest after a whole day of walking around, come and stay here!
